Why you should consider a career at Sheppard Law Firm:
The Sheppard Law Firm has been a Southwest Florida institution since 1924. In our nearly 100-year existence we have fostered a family atmosphere conducive to a friendly working environment. Many of our team members have been with us for more than a decade, and some for several decades. Nearly everyone on our team has direct contact with our clients, related professionals such as CPAs, financial advisors, and others, so excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital.
We value individuals who are alert, curious, responsive, and resourceful. The ability to be a team player, and to help each other out is paramount. It is far easier to keep clients happy by being proactive rather than reactive. Therefore, we value individuals who take ownership over their work rather than waiting for the next direction. To that end, our firm implements more technology than many others, so we’re looking for those that are comfortable operating software programs.
Our team members have busy days, but we have fun in the process. After a qualifying period of employment, compensation packages include health insurance benefits and a 401(k) match. It is not uncommon for us to reward our team with generous end-of-year bonuses. We support continuing education not only for our attorneys, but for staff. We want our individuals to continually improve, and if there is a related program or certification that a team member would like to gain, we’re open to funding it.
